Most people think security cameras are just for catching really bad crimes and other unauthorized behavior. Although busting crimes is the main reason for integrating security cameras, there are other applications where security cameras can be used. As a security consultant, I have helped many hunters setup long range security cameras to help watch for moving deer, elk, moose, pretty much any game. Most of these hunters wanted to have the ability to sit at home and watch targeted areas where deer roamed and then quickly grab their guns and take em down. This is a very unorthodox way to hunt but it is smart. Why sit in the forest in the freezing cold or in the burning sun, when you can have a beer and multi-task doing other things until it is time to bust some shots. The crazy fact is that every year there are more and more hunters calling for that solution. So if you are new to security cameras, just remember to be creative, there all kinds of applications you can integrate security cameras to help aid you in reaching your goals. |
